Since its inception, Winam Grassroots has positioned itself as a movement aimed at transforming the narrative of women as victims into one of women as change agents. This is achieved through skill development and effective organizing, embedded in knowledge sharing among women in various sectors. By empowering women, the organization fosters the development and documentation of best practices, creating innovative and sustainable livelihood solutions.

A key strategy involves capacity development through training programs that enhance skills and income-generating activities. These programs capitalize on opportunities in the green and blue economies, enabling women to achieve financial independence and resilience.
